ITALIAN WORKINGMEN’S CLUB FOOD DRIVE TOPS $1000
The Italian Workingmen’s Club recently announced the results if its’ Third Annual Food Drive. A total of $1050 was raised through a luncheon at the Club, a raffle, and donations raised at the Club’s golf tournament, the Italian Open.
The proceeds were distributed to three local organizations serving those in need in Woonsocket.

The IWC wishes to thank all those who donated as well as the local food pantry and Soup Kitchen volunteers who make such a difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community.
CUMMINGS FAMILY SUPPORT EFFORT
The IWC recently organized and conducted a support party on April 24th at the club for Bill and Lisa Cummings with phenomenal success.
The IWC was able to make a deposit to the Cummings Family Fund in the amount of $60,000.
The IWC supports our Armed Forces with a donation to RI National Guard’s ” Family Program”
Education
Support for youth academics has always been a priority for the IWC.
We consistently support youth fundraiser efforts such as the Mount St. Charles Yearbook, Woonsocket High School Yearbook, and Woonsocket High drama club presentations. Perhaps our proudest contribution the community is our scholarships. Each year the IWC presents scholarships to deserving students from Woonsocket High School and Mount St.Charles.

The IWC has a rich and proud tradition of supporting local youth sports.

Events
We also sponsor several local events including the Elk’s Fishing Derby, Autumnfest, and the St. Anthony’s Italian Feast.

Because He Lives Soup Kitchen, AGAPE the Woonsocket AIDS center, and the Museum of Work & Culture.
